UdhaarWala is operated by Udhaarwala Finance Services Private Limited (CIN: U66190DC2026PTC474204). We are seeking to work with RBI-regulated banks and NBFCs as a digital loan-facilitation and workflow partner. We do not hold ourselves out as a lender or as an authorised partner of any lender until a written arrangement and approved public disclosure are in place.
What the platform is built to support
- Google-authenticated applicant access with a save-as-you-go application journey.
- Structured collection of personal, employment, income, bank-reference and loan-preference information.
- Secure applicant document upload for standard personal-loan requirements, including identity proof, salary slips and bank statements.
- Application-stage persistence, status management, additional-document requests and a borrower dashboard designed for clarity after submission.
- Role-based operations workflow for authorised review teams, including document verification states and application status updates.
- Borrower-facing privacy, fair-practice, digital-lending disclosure and grievance pages that can be adapted to a partner’s approved product and legal language.
Clear division of responsibility
In a live programme, the regulated lender retains control and accountability for the loan product and all regulated lending functions. This includes customer onboarding standards, KYC, underwriting, risk policy, approval or rejection, annual percentage rate and charges, Key Facts Statement, loan agreement, disbursal, servicing, recovery, bureau reporting, complaint resolution and regulatory reporting.
UdhaarWala’s proposed role is limited to the agreed technology and operational services, such as customer acquisition support, application capture, document workflow, borrower communications within the approved journey, status visibility and other services expressly set out in the agreement. The exact scope should be documented before launch and should not dilute the lender’s obligations.
Partner-go-live checklist
- Confirm the lender’s legal identity, product scope, eligibility policy, target segment and approved customer journey.
- Execute a written agreement that defines scope, service levels, data-processing roles, confidentiality, security controls, incident notification, subcontracting, audit access, training, business-continuity expectations and exit obligations.
- Approve lender-specific borrower disclosures, including the lender name, product terms, privacy notice, Key Facts Statement process, fees, repayment channel, complaints route and recovery-agent disclosure where applicable.
- Complete technical, information-security, data-residency, access-control and operational due diligence appropriate to the lender’s policy and applicable RBI directions.
- Agree integration, consent, data-sharing, document-retention, audit-log, escalation and reporting requirements before any customer application is routed to the lender.
- Publish only approved lender branding, product claims and escalation contacts. No user should be told that a lender is live before these steps are complete.
Borrower protections we expect to support
Our proposed model is built around the borrower seeing the lender identity and relevant disclosures before accepting a loan; receiving lender-specific KFS and loan documents; understanding that an application is not a guaranteed approval; using official payment channels; and having a clear platform and lender grievance path. We do not intend to collect a borrower-paid platform commission for a loan approval, and no platform flow should require payment to an unverified account or link.
Information-security and data discussion
We welcome a partner’s security and compliance review. The review can cover the current architecture, access model, document-handling workflow, data fields, retention approach, administrative audit records, incident-handling plan, vendor dependencies and any lender-specific requirements. Any production integration should be configured only after that review, relevant contractual approvals and testing.
How to begin a conversation
To discuss a partnership, email info@udhaarwala.com with the subject “NBFC partnership enquiry”. Please include your institution, regulated-entity type, product scope, target borrower segment and the right business, risk, operations or technology contact. We can then share the current workflow and discuss the due-diligence material appropriate for an initial assessment.
Important note
This page is an invitation to evaluate a potential technology and facilitation arrangement. It is not an offer to provide regulated lending services, a statement of regulatory approval, or evidence that any specific lender has appointed UdhaarWala as a lending service provider.
